SendSpace Wizard is a file sharing desktop tool for Windows and Mac OS X. It allows you to share files with family and friends without having to worry about uploading them to FTP servers or e-mailing large attachments. Graphically, the application does look a lot like an FTP client. There are two panes for file browsing. The left one shows the files on your local drive and the right one is for the files that you upload. When sending a file with SendSpace, you don't really send the files to other people. It actually uploads the files to a web server and the application sends an e-mail to your recipient with a download link. So, basically, you can share files with anyone who owns an e-mail address. Unlike other applications, SendSpace features upload resumption, in case the process gets interrupted. Also, you can edit your uploaded files' descriptions and information on the website. Performance-wise, the application seemed to work quite well. In both uploads and downloads, the servers managed to max out my connection speed, which is always nice to see. The application is totally free, and I didn't see any ads.
